Nevada

BATTLE  BORN

BATTLE  BORN on the flag of Nevada. Powerful words. To me they represent the spirit of the Wild West. To continue in the face of challenges,
to reach for the stars.

Let me tell you a short story

In the mid 19th century 2 Beaudry brothers coming out of Montreal Canada went out West to strike it rich. This was Victor and Prudent Beaudry. During the California gold rush years that started in 1848 they made fortunes during the boom years.

Before Nevada was a State in 1864, not really even a territory they were some of the first people living in Nevada. The Beaudry's were here on the ground, staking some of the first prospectors looking for gold and silver.

Through their dry goods business, they supplied miners with the gear to go looking for gold and silver. This was in exchange for a percentage of whatever they found.

The Beaudry's bet big on the people in Nevada. This didn’t always work out. At times the Beaudry’s lost money. However, they hung in there and again, eventually they struck gold and silver. This time however, it was massive. Their first big break became known as the Comstock Lode in Virginia City, Nevada. After which they had several strikes in the Sierra Nevada region of California.

Victor eventually went back to Montreal and the Beaudry's became some of the largest private landowners in Canada. Prudent went on to become the largest landowner in LA's history, 13th Mayor of Los Angeles and named Nevada, ‘The Silver State’.

Nevada has experienced only a few boom times. The first was in the 1850’s during the gold and silver rush years. Then during the 1930’s when the Hoover Dam was constructed. The last time things were really moving were in the 1990’s. This was during the casino construction boom years.

During that period, I was here on the ground from the beginning.  I was one of the suppliers of decorative items and furnishings that till today can be seen all over the Las Vegas Blvd.

Since then though, nothing, the economy went flat and has stayed that way.  A few new hotels, some new projects but nothing that would catapult Nevada.

I have a vision for Nevada, I know how to create a booming economy that will last for generations. My relatives, the Beaudry's, started here in the 1850’s in Nevada. I want to continue. But on a far grander scale with the economy.

We can have a boom time again here in this State in ways that have never been dreamt, it’s just over the horizon.

Donald was running against Joe for President to literally, 'Make America Great Again'.  Here in Nevada myself, Donald Jr. I will likely be running against another Joe here in the State for the Office of Governor. With your support in voting for me, when I’m elected, I will create the next boom here in the State that is long overdue. It will be Epic.
