Donald J. Beaudry Jr. has officially filed with the Nevada Secretary of State and is running for Governor of Nevada in the 2026 election.

​

Before Nevada became a state, members of my family were already active across the American West — financing miners, prospectors, and early enterprises that helped build what would become the Silver State. That frontier legacy shaped my respect for discipline, investment, and long-term responsibility.

I am a financial engineer and entrepreneur based in Las Vegas, where I have lived and worked for decades. My career spans global trade, finance, and advanced technology, with a focus on building durable systems that operate effectively across multiple economic cycles.

Nevada Roots

​

My connection to Las Vegas spans more than thirty years. In the 1990s, I lived and worked here during the city’s rapid transformation, later returning to make Nevada my permanent home. For more than eight years, my wife Kadek and I have been based at Trump International Las Vegas.

​

Watching Nevada evolve — and in some cases stall — has strengthened my determination to help the state regain its momentum through leadership grounded in experience rather than politics.

From Global Trade to Financial Engineering

​

By the late 1980s, I entered the global antiques and export–import business, building sourcing networks across Asia, Africa, and Europe. During Las Vegas’s resort boom, I supplied custom furnishings and artifacts to major hotels, gaining firsthand experience with large-scale logistics, capital deployment, and long-term asset value.

Managing international operations led naturally into foreign exchange and global financial markets. Over time, I transitioned fully into financial engineering — developing disciplined, risk-controlled strategies designed to perform through changing market conditions, not just ideal environments.

I have worked with real capital, real volatility, and real consequences. That experience shaped a core belief: governments, like markets, must be managed with discipline, transparency, and long-term thinking.

Today, I am the Founder and CEO of BlkEdgeAi, a financial technology and research company focused on advanced market systems, optimization, and data-driven decision architecture.

The same principles used to manage capital efficiently in global markets form the foundation of my plan for Nevada. Sustainable prosperity is not created through taxation and debt — it is created through intelligent systems, prudent risk management, and responsible capital deployment.

I attended Hawaii Pacific University and later expanded my training through MIT OpenCourseWare, Bloomberg Academies in London, and Oracle World University certification in cloud and AI infrastructure. I was selected by Accenture to attend the Tokyo Access Boot Camp in Japan.

I am licensed by the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in financial management, reflecting experience operating within regulated global markets.

Since 2005, I have worked alongside my wife, Kadek Grimaldi Beaudry, Co-Owner and Managing Director of BlkEdgeAi and Chief of Campaign Operations. Born and raised in Bali, Indonesia, she brings extensive experience in foreign exchange, U.S. equities, and global operations.

Why I Am Running for Governor of Nevada

Nevada was built by people who understood risk, responsibility, and long-term planning. Today, the state faces rising debt, inefficiency, and outdated fiscal structures.

I am running for Governor to build a Zero-Tax Nevada funded by disciplined investment, modern financial tools, and responsible management — so families and businesses can keep more of what they earn, and the state can grow without burdening its residents.
